Gurugram RERA update: Among the 51 approved projects, 11 large-scale developments account for nearly ₹25,000 crore in investments.
Gurugram real estate continued its strong growth in the first half of 2026, with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) approving 51 new projects worth nearly ₹38,000 crore. The approvals reflect strong developer confidence and rising demand from both homebuyers and investors in one of India's fastest-growing property markets.
According to a statement issued by Gurugram RERA on July 1, the approved projects represent a combined investment of around ₹38,000 crore, or nearly $4 billion.
Out of the 51 approved projects, 11 major developments alone account for investments of around ₹25,000 crore. This highlights the growing number of large-scale real estate developments being planned across Gurugram.
The regulator said the city continues to attract leading real estate developers who are launching premium and high-value projects.
The approved projects will add 16,727 new units to Gurugram's real estate market.
These include:
The figures show that development activity remains strong across the residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
According to Gurugram RERA, the city's property market continues to attract some of the country's leading developers.
The Authority said developers are regularly launching luxury and premium projects, reflecting confidence in Gurugram's long-term growth potential.
It also noted that steady demand from homebuyers and investors has supported the market's expansion.
The regulator said several policy improvements have helped speed up project approvals and improve transparency.
Measures such as faster approvals, stronger regulatory oversight, and better compliance systems have encouraged both domestic and institutional investors to increase their participation in Gurugram's real estate market.
These initiatives have also helped create a more transparent and well-regulated environment for developers and buyers.
The latest approvals come after a strong performance in 2025, when Gurugram RERA facilitated investments of nearly ₹87,000 crore across 131 real estate projects.
The Authority said this growth was supported by several institutional reforms introduced during the year.
To improve transparency, Gurugram RERA has strengthened its project registration process.
Developers are now required to provide more detailed project information before receiving approval. The Authority has also made project site inspections by technical experts mandatory.
In addition, developers must submit quarterly progress reports (QPRs), allowing buyers to track construction progress more easily.
The regulator has also introduced public notices before project registration, giving stakeholders an opportunity to raise concerns before approvals are granted.
Gurugram RERA said it has also focused on improving dispute resolution.
According to the Authority, it has significantly reduced the backlog of pending complaints, helping speed up the resolution process and providing quicker relief to homebuyers.
The regulator believes these reforms have strengthened confidence in Gurugram's real estate market while creating a more transparent and accountable system for all stakeholders.
